Do I have to be home? No! Most of our lawns are serviced during normal working hours. Unless otherwise instructed, our applicator will complete his work and leave information pertaining to that day’s application at your door.
What about lawn disease? Our trained applicator will notify you if your lawn shows signs of disease. He’ll also advise you of the best treatment. Our regular program does not include treatment for lawn disease.
Can I mow my lawn after an application? You can mow immediately after we apply a granular application, but if we’ve sprayed for weeds we recommend waiting 24 hours to mow and advise not collecting the clippings.
Will your fertilizers burn my lawn during the summer? Not at all. Turf Solutions uses professional slow- release fertilizers that will not harm your lawn during the heat of summer. In fact, our fertilizers actually help your lawn survive the summer heat stress. And when you water your lawn in the summer, our fertilizers are ready and waiting to assist in your lawns recovery.
How safe are your applications (for my pets and kids, for example)? We use slow-release fertilizers which are not considered hazardous materials. The weed control and grub control products we use are all registered for use on home lawns and contain many of the same active ingredients as the products you can buy at your local nursery or garden store. When used by our professional technicians in strict compliance with labeled instructions, they do not represent any significant threat to your family or pets.
How long should we stay off our lawn after a treatment? If your lawn received a granular treatment you can begin lawn activity right away. But if you received a liquid weed control, please stay off the grass until the liquid has dried. Depending on the temperature, humidity and wind, drying should take from one to several hours.
