Lawn Care Program Schedule
Round One – Early Spring Application
Fertilizer to promote early spring green up plus pre-emergent for control of Crabgrass.
Round Two – Late Spring Application
Fertilizer plus pre-emergent for control of Crabgrass. Broadleaf weed control.
Round Three – Grub Application
For control of white grubs.
Round Four – Summer Fertilization
Slow release fertilizer to boost color and health of lawn. Spray for any summer broadleaf weeds. Treat for surface feeding insects if necessary.
Round Five – Early Fall Application
Slow release fertilizer high in nitrogen for turf color, encourage new growth, and to help the lawn recover from summer stress. Broadleaf weed control.
Round Six – Late Fall Application
Quick release fertilizer high in nitrogen for extended color into fall, provides quicker green up in the spring while stimulating root development over winter.
Note: Grub control and summer fertilizer applications are done at the same time.
